Hoi An

This album focuses on Hoi An (meaning peaceful meeting place), also known as the Lantern City. for It was indeed a very peaceful, quiet and colorful place to visit/explore. Hoi An is well known for thee picturesque Japanese bridge, wooden shop-houses, French-colonial houses, handcrafted lanterns, and old canals. It might be worth to mention that Hoi An has been successful in preserving and restoring its so charming roots and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site 1999. Last but not least, I thank all the friendly local people I met there who allowed/invited me to photograph them.
