Gent

Here come the pictures of my photography trip to Gent (Ghent in English and Gand in French). It is an absolutely picturesque fairytale medieval town located in the Flemish region of Belgium. It is the capital and largest city of the East Flanders province. When it comes to UNESCO recognition, Ghent is definitely spoiled. The 14th century Belfry, the 15th century Cloth Hall, and the three beguinages appear on the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage list. As a matter of fact, it is more than a rumor that in the near future the whole medieval heart of Ghent might be included on that list as well. Needless to mention that it was a pure joy to discover/photograph this so eye candy city.
